WHY KINESIOLOGY

Stress has a biochemical response in your body, stress is a normal physical response to a situation or event, often known as the “fight or flight’ response. This response is important, it’s aim is to keep us safe & alive, in fact in our caveman days it was vital to our survival, where for example we needed to outrun a sabre tooth tiger. However, in our modern lives this stress response can be triggered excessively by every day life events and or long term stress events, such as a trauma, a diagnosis, an illness, an accident, a deadline, bosses, colleagues, our mobile phones, our children, bills, finances, traffic jams, etc. All of which can then negativity and detrimentally impact on your mental, emotional and physical health, without your awareness or ability to control it.

Using Kinesiology and it’s numerous techniques, my focus is on optimising balance in the underlying energies that flow throughout the body, releasing the mental, emotional and physical energetic blocks, providing for a realignment back to homoeostasis that automatically flows into all aspects of one’s life.
Your body’s energy systems are integrally linked to, feed and impact, on your biochemistry, on the bodies organs, glands, muscles, tissues, structure and cells. When you’re operating from a balanced energetic state it is far easier for your mind and body to stay optimally healthy and resilient. It becomes natural for you to access your own inner wisdoms and guidance; so you can act, rather than react, you can then make decisions and take action from a place of confidence, clarity & knowing.

What is Kinesiology ?
Kinesiology is a non-invasive energetic holistic modality that uses a variety of proven techniques to support the release of various types of stresses: such as non supportive beliefs, trauma, energetic & environmental imbalances, toxicity & sensitivities, aches & pains, emotional blocks etc. It is designed to bring us back into alignment, into a state of harmonised balanced.
Kinesiology combines our understanding of energy gained from the Eastern Culture of Traditional Medicine, such as acupuncture points, meridians, chakras and energy flows (chi), with our understanding of the structure, anatomy and pathology of the physical body gained from all the discoveries from modern science.
We use the kinesiology processes, to in essence, provide a way for your body to talk to us, via a gentle muscle testing technique (known as biofeedback), for the body and the subconscious mind to tell us what’s going on, what’s out of balance, what’s at the core of this, and ultimately what it needs to support it releasing and getting back into balance.
Kinesiology operates wholistically, with the belief of the interconnectedness of all aspects of our who we are as human beings: the body, the mind and the soul: that you cannot affect one without affecting all areas. We categorise the areas of focus as the triad, or triangle of health, the 3 sides or major aspects that impact people, the 3 main areas of focus are,
- The physical, anatomical, pathological & structural aspects of the body,
- The biochemical and environmentally factors impacting the function of the body & mind,
- The mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of ourselves.
We can work on all areas of your life. It can be a general overall issue or feeling, or a specific stressful situation or a goal you really want to focus on to achieve.
Unprocessed thoughts, experiences from the past and emotions are often held in the body, contributing to the build-up of stressful components within the body which over time can result in unintended and unexpected blocks and “dis-ease” type outcomes.
Many people are surprised at the positive impact of Kinesiology, as they are not consciously aware of what is at the core of their block, or of why they get triggered, anger, anxious, stressed etc. It’s great to release these from the body, so the body can re-align and obtain balance. The result can be improved health and overall wellbeing on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.
